About Me
My name is Amber..
And this is my little family…I’m a proud wife and mother of two kids. We are an expat family living in various areas of the Middle East for over 10 years.
Knowingly wanting to be a pediatric nurse, I went into nursing school back home in Canada and completed a Bachelor of science in Nursing in 2005. I completed my Master’s in Nursing (teaching focus) in 2014 and later completed Breast Education Lactation Studies Program in 2017. My work experience includes intensive care nursery, pediatric, and maternal-newborn nursing in different settings: hospitals and higher education (teaching).
I’m an enthusiast for collaborating with global experts in lactation, attending yearly conferences and reading research to keep current so that I can benefit families the most.
I have the skills and experience to help you breastfeed whether it be about making milk, breast issues, mother/baby health issues, infant communication behaviors, newborn development, sucking bio-mechanics and functionality in breastfeeding and so much more.
I would love to help you! I can’t guarantee breastfeeding outcomes but I can promise the most up to date care, practices, and assessment in lactation and baby wellness so that you can be the BEST mother you can be!
